Acceptable use
Project Nodus is intended for lawful academic and public-interest research connected to energy systems. Submission does not guarantee approval, compute access, or future execution.
Eligible requests
- Legitimate research with a clear scientific or public-interest purpose.
- Workloads the applicant is authorized to run and whose software licenses permit the proposed use.
- Projects whose data, security, and institutional requirements can be reviewed responsibly.
- Workloads that can be described accurately enough for technical and risk assessment.
Prohibited submissions
- Malware, credential theft, unauthorized access, denial-of-service activity, cryptomining, or evasion of security controls.
- Illegal activity, weapons development, surveillance abuse, or efforts intended to harm people, infrastructure, or the environment.
- Content or data the applicant is not authorized to disclose or process.
- Misrepresentation of identity, affiliation, licensing, data classification, or computing requirements.
Sensitive and controlled data
Applicants must disclose personal, confidential, proprietary, export-controlled, or institutionally restricted data. Project Nodus may decline any request that cannot be reviewed or handled safely. Do not upload such data before receiving explicit instructions.
Review and enforcement
Project Nodus may request more information, decline or withdraw support, remove uploaded material, suspend accounts, or preserve records when reasonably necessary to protect the service and its participants.
Phase 1 limitation
The current portal supports intake and review only. It does not authorize code execution on third-party machines. Separate technical, security, and participation agreements will be required before any future execution.
